COMBUSTION CATALYST

Power and Heat Plant Application

Power and Heat Plant Application Focuses on boiler efficiency and maintenance:

  • Dust/Pulverized Boilers: Fuel consumption reduction of 2–6% and increased thermal efficiency.
  • Grate Boilers: Fuel consumption reduction of 4–10%.
  • Gas Boilers: Up to 3% fuel savings and CO reduction to less than 10ppm.

Dosing Requirements

Dosing Requirements

The catalyst is typically dosed into the primary or secondary air participating in combustion. Recommended dosing rates include:

  • Hard Coal: 100 ml per 1000 kg.
  • Brown Coal: 100–150 ml per 1000 kg.
  • Liquid Fuels (Diesel, Heavy Fuel Oil): 5–40 ml per 1000 liters.
  • Gas: 10–40 ml per 1000 $m^3$.

Cement Plant Application

Focuses on improving clinker production and energy efficiency:

  • Performance: Increases temperatures in the synthesis zone and improves clinker quality parameters like C3S.
  • Trial Results (Indonesia 2022):
Total fuel savings of approximately 8.01% to 11.05%. Increase in C3S (from 64 to 65.15) and reduction in FCaO (from 1.38% to 1.29%).
  • International Trials:
Documented fuel savings in Vietnam (3.6%), Poland (6.1%), Croatia (5.1%), and Italy (3.48%).
